2013

So, for many the number 13 isn't a happy one. Friday the 13th always sticks out. But this year for me personally is one of huge change and new opportunities - so I'm going into it with a positive mind, and big hopes.

This is the first year I will be living in a town other than my home, and the first year living with my wonderful partner in crime Darci. I will be studying for a Diploma of Marketing at Otago Polytech, and working part time (doing what, and where still tbc)...

I'm freaking out on the inside, for one Dunedin is Freezing and I HATE the cold. & Two this is so many big changes at once I fear I will explode. I need to keep my focus on the reason for doing this and not stray into lands of darkness.

Here are some goals to keep me on track:
- Pass every paper (that's a given)
- Stick to a firm budget and not rely on my credit card
- Become a better partner, and to have a beautiful (if small), cozy, loving home

Why leave the home I love for one I do not know? Big Picture.
I have for so long been coasting along, but not really doing anything. I am waiting for death, but not experiencing life right now! It's time to look at my life and evaluate - and so far I'm not 100% happy. I want to leave a mark on the world when I'm gone, but right now it would be more like a tiny speck of a mark you can only just see if you stared really hard. Let's do this 2013, and let's do it big.
